X-LED

X-LED is the combination of the proven stainless steel mesh X-TEND with an ultra modern LED light module system. The basis is built upon X-TEND which is a connection of stainless steel cables and ferrules which allows multifaceted designs of pre-stressed cable constructions. The composition of the LED light module system with the transparent and delicate properties of X-TEND mesh offers new forming concepts of the modern architectural illumination and orchestration. This novel design feature allows the medial performance of two dimensional faces culminating in three dimensional moulded bodies.

The presentation of moving pictures, animations and video content was paramount during the development of X-LED. In addition to the facility of a video presentation, the X-LED system offers a maximum transparency whilst offering the best quality video display.

What is X-LED?

X-LED is the latest “State of the Art” medial design feature which integrates into the architecture during the day and stages fantastic displays at night.

X-LED has persuasive attributes such as low self weight and the flexibility of size and formation of the applied face or body.
With the use of LEDs (Light Emitting Diode) the system is almost maintenance free. For components which are exposed to the elements, moveable parts were abdicated from use.

The system, due to ist degree of protection (IP66) and the use of stainless steel wire rope, can be used outside in all weather without any restriction. Only the control unit and the power supply require weather-proofing.
